In 1984 when my son was a newborn; I used the baby bottles with the plastic throw away liners and heated them in microwave.
Has anyone or their parents done this and you or your child have crohns?  (I know not to put plastic in microwave now)  Just wondering if
there is a connection.  God Bless all of you!!!!!!!!!!!

i doubt there's a connection, most of the info I've seen with plastics is that they act like estrogen and can cause ambiguous genitalia or predispose you to cancer

Nah I don't think this is the cause of his Crohns. I know as parents you want to find the reason. Its nothing you did, it was his unfortunate luck to develop the disease. JMHO

*Also, on a side note, could you please not use caps in your titles. Caps in the internet world are considered yelling* Thanks:)

I highly doubt it as well. People have been getting crohn's way before microwaves were around and when glass bottles were the norm.

When I first read this I thought someone had read it in a supermarket tabloid - then I realized they thought it up all by themselves!
