Just to keep you guys in the loop. I went to my "nice" rheumatologist, who is now suspecting I have fibromyalgia. And everytime my crohns flares so does the fibro. Makes sense I guess. He said to never go back to the ER when I get like that (screaming, crying in pain), to call him directly on his cell phone. He said the ER does not understand conditions like fibro combined with crohns. And will typically think you are just there for the drugs. So thank god. Won't be going back there again. Unless its something else. He gave me Savella a new drug for fibro. But I don't think i will start the new one till I get use to Cimzia. So I can tell what is causing what.
Nurse came to the house last night for my first teaching of the injections of Cimzia. This is my 2nd dose. I did one in each thigh. Tummy the first time was terrible, could barely sit up. And I figured my legs hurt all the time anyway so I'll just do it there. Well one leg was fine, the other swelled and I can see the medicine is still stuck there bc theres a lump.
Today I woke up with flu like symptoms, very common side effect. Think I probably have a sinus infection too, which is typical for me. No big deal really.
Oh and the dog is doing well, she hasn't had an attack since starting dog prozac. Thank god!
Between me and the dog, were racking up the dr bills!
My poor husband (who is as healthy as they get) says why my *itches always sick!
Ya gotta laugh about it otherwise you go crazy.
Take care you guys!
