Yes, You are totally right, both LDN and SCD is working on an individual level, and it's big variations when the benefits starts to hit it,
as I mentioned in another post just before this one, there are MS patients that wakes up the next morning, as I did with my Crohns, with reduced symptoms, and MS patients waiting up to a year getting benefits.
I know for sure that there are parents following the SCD for their kids with Crohns in a combo with LDN, and where their health is really well because of the combination. Well, I am not to tell whether this is the best solution neither can I garantee anything, everyone interested in trying something new for their Crohns could just try if they want.
Simply because we could think"first do no harm"by trying one or both. ;)
Oh and jp, - I initially got some symptom changes, as I've written earlier, my pain and my bloating was gone the day after the first pill. To be honest, my pain wasn't killing me, but it gave me such discomfort that I was just focusing on the pain, it was not at all the hard stabbing one, as I've learned is typical. I happen to know that people with much more pain than me could do well on LDN alone or a combo with other pain meds except the hardest guns.
Bleeding: I've found you've been using LDN from May this year, - I gradually got rid of mine, so during the first years it was gone. Still is. I also know people having fistulas and abscesses getting healed with LDN. It seems to help people also with moderate or severe diseases.
I have 4 narrowed spots in my small intestines- they have not been bigger, during these 3 years on LDN, and they are not inflamed to that degree that I am getting obstructions several times a months. I never get them anymore. Sometimes I get increased inflammation, I then use prednisone for a few weeks, most of the time on 10 mg.
