Ari, hoping you're at home resting by now!
It's nice to come home and sleep in your own bed!
As I sit here typing, Bella's staring out the back windows waiting for her "friends" to arrive. It's rainy so I don't think they'll be around. Choc-I don't know that I've ever seen a red squirrel.
Sniper-That's my kind of day! Maybe do something, maybe do NOTHING!
It's supposed to rain all day here so I probably won't do all that much.
Choc-I wouldn't do yardwork without power tools! (I even asked for them and got them for Christmas!) There's just too much space and too much to do for me to do it alone manually. Though last year I did pay someone to cut the grass every other time so I didn't have to do it quite so much. This summer it didn't rain a lot, so the grass didn't need to be cut but every week and a half, which is fine with me. When it's weekly it gets to be too much.
Oh, and are you feeling any better today? Have you tried drinking ensure type drinks to get calories in so you don't get so weak?
Ivy-I'm spoiled...no more needs to be said about
that. I admit I am, and I appreciate it, so it's fine! Usually for Christmas and birthdays I ask for things for the house, like the battery pack of lawn tools, my dyson and mini dyson, etc. Sometimes I feel old because I come home excited about
things like towels and steam cleaners and the like, but it makes my life far easier!
Oh, and I have a story for you all. Last night I worked, then picked up money from my dad (paycheck goes in Friday but I have insurance drafted today so I needed $ before the paycheck). While at my parents house, Mom got worried and wanted to go to the bank and Walmart with me because it was dark and she worries. I told her I'd call her after going through the ATM and after leaving Walmart so she'd know I was fine. ATM was quick, called Mom and said I was entering Walmart. When I walked out of walmart, a guy was leaning against his car, smoking a cigarette a couple cars down from mine. I put groceries in the trunk, put cart in the return, and walked toward my door. He asked if he could borrow my cell phone to make a call. I told him no, I don't pay the bill, so I can't let anyone borrow it. I got in car (quickly) and left. The whole way home I was worried that he was following me. Anyway, why would someone stand in the parking lot, when in an emergency, I'm sure Walmart has phones. Creepy guy! Called Mom, who said to call once I was home and settled. So I got home, unloaded groceries, and called my parents house....again. Dad answered the phone and says "your mom wants you to call when you get in bed" LOL, funny Dad! I got a good laugh and we joked around a bit about
how many times Mom had me call already. (though I don't really mind, if it eases her mind for me to make a quick call) Anyway, I think the creepy guy at walmart was trying to attack me or something, which only further worried my mom and made her paranoid about
me going out at night alone....maybe I shouldn't have told her about
him...or maybe I won't go back to Walmart after dark by myself again...
