Ok I know this might seem strange. I am my day before my scope. I bought some Jolly Ranchers.

I know I cannot eat red candy or drink red juice.

For some reason I remember something about avoiding blue candy or anything blue (juice, jello)

Is this true?  I have the multi pack of candy and lots of them are red and blue. I was hoping to eat candy most of the day to keep me going.

I will be doing the moviprep tonight 6pm and 330 am (I may bump up the 330 am one so I have more time)

Thanks!!

PS: I am going to the store to get slushies and some non dairy sorbet. I did not think of the slushies before (Thanks nanners) I also thought about the sorbet from reading here. I think that will be great.

I'm 99% sure my doc said no blue-colored stuff. Green was okay though. By knowledge of the color wheel, I also eliminated purple items. :)

Try slurpees too. I always drink the coke flavored ones, along with chicken broth and that helps to keep the energy levels up. Hugs!

Hmm, my instructions only ever said no red or orange. I've even used the Blue Gatorade with no issues.

thanks, mine don't say anything about blue either. For some reason I remember reading it here somewhere.

I've always avoided blue, red and purple.

You guys are making me want a coke flavored slurpee. I might have to get one while I'm running errands tonight!

I have a colonoscopy in January, and I'm thrilled you mentioned Slurpees! I never would have thought of them, but they should be FANTASTIC. Many many thanks.

Anything but yellow has been discouraged by our gi's. Any of the other colors can stain the intestinal wall and mis-lead the gi when they're doing the scope.

No red, blue, purple, orange (has red in it), or green (has blue in it).

I heard green was ok....I hope that it is because I have had 4 green jolly ranchers. Yummy.

Maybe I will get a bag of lemon candy and lemon sorbet (non dairy)? that might help.

I have a cold and spent most of the prep day sleeping so I have luckily not had to deal with hunger much. However, I want to stay hydrated.

I am salavating at the tought of slurpies and sorbet.

I also got really sick of jello and white grape juice from 4 years ago when I had my last scope. I have not had any jello, white grape or green gatorade ever since. I mixed the gatorade with the fleet and it was the worst taste!!!

It is funny how I associate those foods with prep and they make me feel sick. Makes it harder to find food to eat this time around.
