Heh. I felt a little bit left out a week or so ago when the first snows arrived and everybody was going "ooh, snow!" and all the news programmes were talking about
it. We did get a litte
bit of snow, but only a light dusting. This is what we got today... :pimg138.imageshack.us/img138/822/snow2a.jpgimg189.imageshack.us/img189/7634/snowchair.jpgimg411.imageshack.us/img411/8394/snowbirds.jpg
I've found the same thing with antidepressant meds. Some definitely have sedative properties. I've never had significant problems, including insomnia, with coming off antidepressants, even if they helped me to sleep. I had crazy insomnia a few years ago, though. I took melatonin to help me overcome it; it may have been a psychological crutch, but it was a necessary one, I think. At any rate, nowadays I don't take anything at all and I don't sleep brilliantly, but I do sleep.
Good luck with your drug-free sleep! And talking of sleep... I'm off to sleep after this post ¬_¬ Well, not sleep straight away, but soon. Oh yeah, TLCs :-/
*ran car, but didn't take it for a drive. The fact that nobody else in my street had taken their car out spooked me out a bit, as my car is considerably crappier than theirs and I didn't want to chance it.
*the friends cancelled dinner, but may yet come over tomorrow night
Goodnight, folks. Hope you're doing okay, Ivy and Becky.
