I feel the same as heatmiser, I would rather have 20+ good years in health where I can live my life and accept there is a slight possible increased risk of cancer than have 20+ years of rubbish existance and not being able to live my life because the CD is too bad to do anything.
Don't forget that as CD is an immune system problem this could mean that we have an increased risk of cancer anyway and not just due to biologics, this is something science doesn't know. Someone else has posted a thread on here about
biologics and that they may actually protect against some types of cancer, interesting point. I think sometimes we only look at the negative effects and the 'what could be' scenerios but these have to be put into perspective, the data so far shows that incidence of these drugs causing cancer is very, very low but if left untreated it could develop into something worse anyway.
Ultimately everyone has to make their own choice and decide whether it is right for them, so I can only suggest that everyone read up on all the information available good and bad and decide from there. Only you will know if it is right for you.
