Overslept this morning, so now it's 10.30 am and I'm just finishing breakfast. It's annoying when that happens. I need about
twelve hours sleep a night, so if I get home late from appointments and therefore get to bed late, it just blows the next day. Oh well.
Done so far:
* started cooking stock
* put pigs' smelly blankets on to wash
* eaten breakfast
* cuddled one sooky cat
, who is feeling cold and miserable
I'd like to keep working on catching up & tidying various messes while the stock is cooking and then, if there's time after that, maybe head down the street and look at computers. I hope to make some soup too, and maybe stew some more pears. Did I tell you that the important city doctor (seen earlier this week) thinks that my pain is because I'm stricturing and backing up (blocking?). It's made me think that more softer foods and mush might be a good idea, anyway.
I wish it would stop raining. The poor guinea pigs haven't been out for a run since the weekend, poor boys. And they haven't had much grass lately, either. Hay is a very poor substitute, even if they do get a variety of yummy sorts.
Have a good day, everyone.
Will keep posting updates, as I make progress.
