Holy crap. Are you serious. I live in Northern NJ and lived in NY most of my life. I was working in Manhattan when 9/11 happened. To hear this really disgust me. I was planning on visiting it when it opens, but not anymore. Although many people should protest against this, know NYC nothing will change. By the time the battle is over, the building will be open and done.
It is so sad that we are making a memorial to honor so many and now we want to exclude people from going to it. I agree that it is hard dealing with bathrooms in Manhattan, esp in that area. This just makes the problem worse. Maybe if we all wrote Chuck Schumer it might help..but again, I doubt it.
