Anyone ever experience sudden bruising? Could this be disease or medication related?

My daughter had 5 bruises appear about her legs. She has been on Imuran for about 2 1/2 yrs. now.

Her diet is not very nutritious as she doesn't have a hearty appetite, could it even be a vitamin deficiency?

Tom.

Imuran has a side effect of causing bruising. I used to get really bad bruises from knocking into things or tripping. Used to look absolutely terrible

Hi Tom....I am not on imuran, but I bruise really easily. Always wondered if ti was part of the CD, but never bothered to look too deeply into it. I also have Extremely pale skin so I wrote it off to that. let us know if you find out it might be something other than the imuran.

I am not on Imuran either, and bruise very easily too. I like Habs have often wondered if it was part of CD too. Hmmm...

have been on Entocort for 1.5 years now and bruise very easily.  I always thought it was the medication (my doctor thinks as much).  I'm bummed to hear Imuran does the same thing as I am about to start that.   sad
