Agreed--what would we do without our Sniper????

Well Artist Guy, as you say this is a site for sick people . I resemble that remark. I don't deny the allegation or the alligator . Trust me, where I live I know alligators . Yep , we have been dealt a crappy hand as you say , but there will always be someone with a worse hand. I just don't choose to cry about mine , except on rare occasions or for reasons beyond my control such as inebriation , over medication or running my mouth while my brain is still in neutral . Either way if I can bring a smile or a laugh to someone and that someone forgets the pain for a moment at my expense , then this was a moment well spent . I do thank you for the post because sometimes its hard to judge the impact when you cant see the smile or hear the laugh . I know I am not the only one here that is up to their a-- in proverbial alligators either. The people here have helped me and my wife so much and I would be remiss were I not to give back what I could. Because I am not a bundle of useful info I do what I can and that is to see the funny side of things . Sick, yep , guilty as charged and yes thank you all .

Although i'm only new here already i'm reading some really good/helpful posts....it's not all about the medicine is it? Hearing about/from people like this is just as good a tonic as any meds,

hey sniper, what part of LA are you in? and has the river gone down much, river being Miss. one year I worked in PA. I use to fish like a maniac, so I was riding my bike and I went over this bridge that had river under, so there was a fishing store right by this river, so I goes in and ask what is the name of this river, the two dudes look at me puzzeled, what river they say, I said what river, the one I just crossed, they laughed, and said thats not a river, it's a creek. I said CREEK!! what is your rivers look like, well we only have one in this area, it's the susqhanna. (spell) so I know in your area there is so much water, but coming from san diego, our rivers don't evan resemble your creeks. If you have ever been to SO. Cal. you would laugh

AG, if you look at La. its shaped like a boot. The arch right in front of the heal is a combination of bays. I live right in the top of that arch on the Bayou Teche . No creeks here. You have to go north to Ark. or west to Tx. or east to Miss. to find a creek . There is only one creek in La . When you have boat motor failure in the Gulf of Mexico when the waves are high, then you are up S--- Creek without a paddle . Right now the water has gone down below flood stage and the drought is very much over with rain every day. Glad that did not happen when the water was high.

Hey Sniper yes I been gone went art crazy for awhile even did a painting for crohns. I am not too bad at this time have an app. with a new GI since I moved . That paddle comment really hits home when yah think of the gators down there now that could give a person need for a section of some sort.
