Okay this has nothing to do with Crohns but thought some of you may know the answer or can help me....My and my husband are planning on adopting a child from China...well this little boy's bladder was born outside of his stomach..he had the surgery to correct it. (he is 6) He still has accidents and doesn't have much control yet. He had the surgery last november. Do any of you know anything about
this kind of medical issue? I really need some help on this...or is there any sight to where i can talk to a dr on a chat or something...I sure hope some of you can help me with this..I really don't know what to do..We want to adopt him but not sure if he will have many issues in the future or if he will always have accidents or will he go to the restroom like all other kids...HELP PLEASE!!!
sorry to put this on a crohns site but i couldnt find a topic about
it on here...

I wonder if you might be better off looking for some sort of bladder forum, elsewhere? I'm not sure many of us will have a lot of experience with the health problems you're describing.
Good luck with it,
Ivy.

If you are adopting from overseas, your local pediatrician (if you don't have one yet, you need one) should be guiding you with information on issues like this.

We've adopted two from Vietnam. I have no experience with that issue, though. We used an international adoption clinic (at Vanderbilt) for our kids.
