I drink pure chamomile tea and add only honey to it, been doing this for years, can't even tell you the last time I had a cold...I've known about
honey aiding with sore throats for many yrs now, I've always given it to my kids and hubby when they get a sore throat/flu/cough etc. and they always find quick relief from it. Honey had a lot of anti-inflammatory/healing properies and it's great to put on burns, cuts, scrapes etc as well. Google home remedies with honey and you'll get loads of info.
as far as sleeping goes, I always fall asleep quickly and stay asleep for a good 7-8 hours ever since I started exercising regularly (also likely another reason why I haven't been sick with a cold/flu in yrs )
