OK. So we can automatically rule out three days a month. When you say "sleep", is that definitely sleep for three days straight, or might you be able to do a little bit of quiet work during those days too, such as writing birthday cards, or cheques? (It's ok if you can't; just asking).
How many days a week do you work?
Have you noticed a pattern to your energy cycle? Are you slightly more energetic at certain times, and less energetic at others?
At work, do you have some control over how the kiddies' day is structured? Can you schedule in quiet time for them when you are at your tiredest, and more active play time for when you are more likely to be up? If the schedule isn't under your control, is there any chance you could talk to your superior and ask if the schedule can be rejigged a little? My experience is that I am less exhausted at the end of the day when I can be quiet when I need to be, and active when I'm able, instead of being pushed to be active when my body is screaming for rest.
