My GI put me on a liquid diet for a few days(probably until I get my stomach emptying test done) because my Crohn's has gotten crazy. I forced myself to eat some yesterday(milkshake & 2 chicken fingers) despite still burping up dinner from the previous night and having a huge, distended stomach and all heck broke loose. I was in a fetal position, in my bed, with narcotics in hand(I rarely use them. I hate the side affects) calling my GI in the middle of the night crying. Haven't had that much pain in SO long. Being constipated for days doesn't help either! I guess he thinks I have gastroparesis or am partially obstructed(as do I).
Those on a liquid diet/have been on a liquid diet (or just know some good ideas) what are some tastey, stomach friendly foods I can eat or cook?
Sorry for posting so much. I don't know many Crohnie's at all and the ones I do know are either deathly ill right now or are mild cases
