I have hypothyroid issues as well as Crohn's. I'm young and borderline so my doctor just checks it every 6 months. Women in my family have a lot of thyroid issues(thyroid cancer, hyperthyroid, Graves etc.) and GI issues, including Crohn's. A few immediate family members have both Grave's & Crohn's. Someone posted not too long ago about
the same thing. I believe more Crohnies than you think have thyroid problems.
I would tell the doctor what you just told us. You need to be completely honest so you don't end up having any medicine reactions and so you can get the best treatment options. If you aren't honest with him/her you'll ruin that trust barrier.
