Okay as some of you know I have not been really impressed with the GI doctor that Kota is using at this time. I am not real sure of any other ones.
I have been trying to search and find one that knows alot about Crohns becasue I wonder if Kota's GI knows much. He said when he first seen us in the hospital he had never sen a case like Kotas of someone that has the other issues (Kidney DIsease and Benign Rolandic Epilepsy) along with Crohns.
This dr practices at Cook Children Ft Worth. The only other ones I have been able to pull up at Cook are also in his office. A couple of which we ahve seen in the past.
I have looked up Dallas Childrens. It would be farther for us to drive but I am okay with that as long as Kota is taken care of properly. I also want the doctor to makes us feel comfortable. To not like Kota is crazy for feeling the way he does. Or out of his mind for having the apin he has and feels. I dont like that he made Ko fell like he was just being a brat for not sleeping.
I was also told about Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas but as far as I can find that dont have a Gastro clinic. Not sure if I am just notable to find it. I am not real computer smart and having to learn more as I learn about Crohn's.
Am I totally crazy for wanting to change dr? Will they have to redo all the test that have already been done? Am I asking to much to ahve a dr like that?
Thanks so much for the advice. We go next Thursday to see a Cardiologist. Kotas heart rate is staying about 125 and just walking to the bathroom will raise it to 149. I know this may not be high for everyone but I am sure if feels like its beating fast for him since his as stayed at 40-50 since he was first born.
Thanks again and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
