Most likely an internal hemorrhoid that has atrophied or is in the process of doing so making it what is then an internal skin tag and given time the internal skin tag often dissipates on its own as well.
If hadn't explicitly told you he found no polyps I would have first guessed a polyp as they can come in various shapes and sizes. My first polyp was kinda neat to see: looked like a Christmas tree shaped mushroom on a stem. Snip, snip and it was off to the pathologist's plate. The other time one was found it wasn't much more than a round button mound. No where near so interesting as the mushroom.
My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.
