We went out to our neighborhood Italian restaurant for dinner tonight. They have a nice gluten free pizza and other dishes that I've had before - tonight for the first time I ordered their GF pasta primavera. It came with two pieces of breaded eggplant, which were lovely. It was so delicious I asked the waiter to really truthfully confirm for me that it was GF and he said of course!
After the meal he asked me if my eggplant had been breaded or not. Umm, yeah? OOPS. They don't use GF bread crumbs. Their mistake, so sorry.
Ugh. Tomorrow is not going to be a good day.
Or maybe it will be and I will learn something new about
my gluten intolerance?

Bah. Hopefully it's a small enough amount of gluten it won't cause too much of a reaction for you.

You know, it was nothing. NOTHING. Makes me want to eat breaded eggplant a whole lot more often. :-|

Glad you are feeling ok and it didn't cause any trouble. I hope Passover dinner was great last night too. My adult kids are coming in this week-end so we are actually delaying our Pesach dinner until Sat night. My daughter is a vegetarian. She loves Matzoh ball soup, but I need to get creative with the rest of the meal. Hope all is well
