I love all types of games. Card games, board games, and video games. The video games started out on an Atari 2600 when I was a kid.
Although, I'll admit that movies typically are my first go-to when I'm really sick. As a kid, I always had a couple of comedy movies as my go-to when I was stuck at home and missing school. When I was recovering in the hospital a couple of years ago, my wife got me my first smart phone. I did load it up with games, but mostly used it to watch movies.
That said, I do definitely use games now, especially when stuck for long spells in the bathroom. I bounce around from what I play, but I do find a number of the old card & board games still fun. Recently, I've been playing Backgammon. Optime has a number of these classic board & card games for free with challenging AI. (Spades, Hearts, Euchre, Chess, etc.)
I learned how to play Farkle on my smart phone.
I've also been playing Real Karkuro a lot recently. It is a number/logic game. Perhaps better known as CrossSums, if you used to do Dell puzzle magazines.
Slydris. My wife and I have both been addicted to that lately.
