So sorry you got stung...but glad to know I am not the only one with bigger than average reaction to 'squiters etc.! I have only been stung by a bee/hornet 3 times and they did get progressively worse with each one...but all were pre-dx (but I know I had CD then too). If you can't get in to see the doc right away and you are concerned about
bacteria...could you use some neosporin with pain relief until you see doc? I love that stuff haha.
As for the garden...yup the bugs seem worse than ever in my neck of the woods too (western NY). I am also getting a lot of spider bites along with the mosquitos. For non-bee bites, I still favor my Mom's old solution to the itch and swelling - average everyday bar soap! Rub a damp finger on the bar soap to like a wet paste then rub on the bite---they seem to go away very quickly. Of course I use a cortisone cream sometimes too...but I love when old school fixes work.

Age 45-50, female. Still holding on with just Pentasa and cholestyramine for the CD and a PPI for GERD. But...looking into long term antibiotic tx. TI resected 1990 due to rupture and one fistula in 2003....other than that..just trying to find my balance.
