Hey everyone! I'm pretty new at this, but I just need some help on figuring out what is wrong with me?! about 4 months ago I started getting a horrible pain in my lower right abdomen by my belly button. I was like crap it's my appendix. But the pain continued, so I knew it wasn't that. I also started about a week before, where I was constipated. I used to be a 2 a day, nice sized stools. I went to the doctor and she said it's just IBS, was in there five minutes and walked out. about 3 weeks later I end up in the hospital been puking all morning, worst headache and dehydrated. X-ray of the abdomen and cat scan came back okay. We'll the pain by my belly button has persisted, and now my back on each side where my kidneys are hurts so bad I'm doubled over, and also te pain radiates up under my ribs. I went to the GI doctor and he listed off a bunch of stuff it could be: chrons, celiac, gallbladder, and even cancer. I'm going Tuesday to get an EGD done and they're also going to do a test to see if my gallbladder is function correctly. But now instead of being constipated te past couple days has been nothing but green diarrhea.

Welcome to the forum. Did any of these doctors take blood or stool samples? How about urine samples to figure out that kidney pain? How are your menstrual cycles?

Oh I forgot to mention. When I do have a BM there is quite a bit of mucus in it. Also when my BM is not green it is usually a pale color, sometimes it's so light brown it looks grey. Very tiny, slim pieces too. Sorry to get so descriptive. :/

Good luck with the EGD. I would expect your GI to order a colonoscopy also.

Thank you very much kazbern for replying. This is all very irritating and nerve wrecking. I just wish I knew what to expect.

The description of your pain and the green/pale poo sounds more like what my mom's issues were before she had to have her gallbladder out.

Thats what I thought it was. I'm just ready for some answers because I'm tired of not being able to go or not being able to stop going

Sounds like gallbladder symptoms to me too. Watch for yellowing of your skin and the whites of you eyes. My GI totally missed my jaundice when I had a blockage of the common bile duct even though I pointed it out to him. Thankfully my GP could tell and it showed up in the liver functions tests.

So, I had the egd and they said it was all inflamed, nd there was a lot of mucus. They also took a biopsy. I haven't gotten the results back yet. But the pain has gotten worse I also have been having many bouts of diarrhea the past couple days. Today there was blood in it. I'm very scared
