I am not a natural healing type person. Nothing against it, just have several personal reasons for not considering them. But this undiagnosed bacterial overgrowth (it is all it can be at thispoint but GI wont go this route because my one breath test came back negative-all
my tests show fine even when I am not)
So...hubby loves garlic and that is listed as one of the options--That stuff kills my butt when I eat it though. But willing to live with it if it is a long term option and anyone knows of succes.
Oregano oil capsules - hmmm I never was big on oregano taste, but if the capsules are somewhat taste free....anyone?
Enteric coated peppermint oil - this was lsited as most promising...but mints really bother me. Is it worth it????
The dietary options they gave definitely do not work with the diet that keeps my gut feeling well. Probiotics of several kinds have been tried and they all make me queasy to downright wretching with cramping
Age 45-50, female. Still holding on with just Pentasa and cholestyramine for the CD and a PPI for GERD. But...looking into long term antibiotic tx. TI resected 1990 due to rupture and one fistula in 2003....other than that..just trying to find my balance.
