Hello. I've been having intestinal issues the last couple of days and every Google search led me to this website. I'll share my story while explaining what's going on.
5 years ago I had a bad case of colitis (I could BM on command my doctor told me jokingly). Bloody, nasty mess a few times an hour. I also had my first seizure 2 months after recovering from colitis.
Funny thing is, exactly 5 years later I'm having solar health issues. I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the first of March after having 2 more seizures, and now my intestines have joined in.
My symptoms include gnawing pain throughout my lower abdomen, and small BMS 2-5 times an hour which are maybe thumb sized and completely covered in mucus. I mean like a double dipped white chocolate peanut covered.
It's stressing me out because ever since my absolute panic attack break down on my last job, my health has gone downhill. I was also diagnosed with IBS C 3 years ago after basically 20 years of abdominal issues.
I've read people with IBS are likely to developer Crohn's, and I'm just reaching out to see if anyone knows if my symptoms are pointing toward it. This has been going on for 3 days now and I waited too long to go to the Dr. I have all weekend to worry myself, yay!
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
