I would be absolutely amazed if I wasn't. Have just emerged from a British winter where I saw the sun for about
5 minutes, but even in the summer I'm not out in the sun loads. I get up too late and I just don't go out that much. I'm not trying to lose weight at the moment, but I wouldn't say the weight exactly falls off me. It never has done though, so I'm not sure how significant that is.
The NHS doesn't do vitamin D tests, so I'm wondering whether it's worth paying £28 to have it tested privately. I could just start supplementation but I would like a baseline first.
Dx Crohn's in June 2000. (Yay )
Tried: 5-ASAs, azathioprine, 6MP, Remicade, methotrexate, Humira, various diets.
1st surgery 20/2/13 - subtotal colectomy with end ileostomy.
2nd surgery 10/7/15 - ileorectal anastomosis. Stoma reversed and ileum connected to the rectum. Current status: Officially flaring again. The fun never begins.
Current meds: 9mg Entocort, 25mg 6MP
