I can feel your pain, curiouskitten. It happens to me every month. I have it in the middle of the cycle or mittelschmerz and a week prior to my period. At the beginning, I couldn't figure out what was wrong and would rush to my GI. He would, in turn, consider my symptoms as a new flare up and would prescribe me antibiotic injections as my Crohn's diagnosis was not confirmed yet then. By time, I could attribute the pain to my period. I once saw an OB-GYN who put me on BC but these caused me severe side effects and skin problems and had to stop it.
I learnt to be very cautious with my food 2 weeks after my period and a week prior to it. If I feel I have extra pain, I take extra antispasmodics. Is your Crohn's under control? I feel that activity exacerbates pain more than what happens when Crohn's is inactive.
Take care :)
