I'm new to this forum but i was hoping a few of you could help me with a few questions i have.

I am currently being investigated for IBD. I am having pain around my belly-button and on the right lower side of my abdomen and i can hear really loud noises all the time and the pain gets pretty severe. I also get really nauseous, feel really warm and just generally feel unwell. BUT i don't have any diarrhea although my stools are a on the loose side but they have always been like that, from a young age i've been pretty used to using the toilet a lot.

I just have a gut feeling (pardon the pun) that i don't feel right and this isn't normal, i'm really struggling to feel well enough to leave the house. So far i have had blood tests, stool samples for infections (negative), an endoscopy (mild chronic gastritis without activity) and a couple of days ago i had a CT scan and fecal calprotectin sample sent off but I have an appointment next week to get the results.

I am wondering, is this pain / nausea / feeling warm, typical of what others have experienced?

What did you experience before your diagnosis? What type of abdominal pain did you have? How unwell did you feel pre-diagnosis?

Thanks for reading all that above, it would be great to get some replies!

It's good that you've had a series of diagnostics. Unfortunately, you really need to get those results before you can speculate any further. I would suggest a colonoscopy with biopsies, as that is the best way to rule out Crohn's or Colitis.

Hope you're feeling better soon.
