Dang. I wish there were more which could be done for abscesses and fistulas. They sound like horrible things: not getting them is the only way I have been lucky with my Crohn's disease.
My eyes are better thanks, but I'm still worried about
them. Saw an eye doc yesterday, who took a rather cursory look at my eyes and prescribed me steroid eye drops. They don't seem to be working quite as well or quickly as this time. The redness and pain have nearly gone, but my vision is still a bit misty in the right eye: this morning, the mistiness was even worse. I'll see how it is tomorrow - I'm off to bed soon.
Dx Crohn's in June 2000. (Yay )
Tried: 5-ASAs, azathioprine, 6MP, Remicade, methotrexate, Humira, diets.
1st surgery 20/2/13 - subtotal colectomy with end ileostomy.
2nd surgery 10/7/15 - ileorectal anastomosis. Stoma reversed and ileum connected to the rectum.
Current status: Chronic flare. Do I have any other kind?
Current meds: 50mg 6MP; Entyvio (started 3/11/16)
