hey my people. just met my new GI dr. seems my blood level of humira is dropping. so he wants me to go to 2 injections at the same time each week. anyone else go to 8 per month? just wondering. if the level comes up in 2-3 months, may stay on. but if it does not , why bother so we will see.

an update on the Gattex . has been 2.5 years now and have been able to go from 2 liters of TPN 7 days per week, down to 1 liter 3 times per week. and now going down to 2 times per week. will still need saline and potassium for hydration on the other days but it is ashorter time hooked up.

also this xmas i will finish my 18th year on TPN. a milestone of sorts. kind of like being a TPN adult! smilewinkgrin

That's a big improvement with the TPN - good job! How long does it take to infuse 2 litres of TPN out of interest?

Hope the extra Humira helps. And congrats on your 18th TPN birthday :p

12 hours ... 10 hours for 1 liter tpn and 5 hours for 1 liter of saline with potassium. can be different for each person. depends what the infusion DR thinks on an individual basis..

Flipping heck :-/ I had a feeling it would take a long time, but I didn't guess that long. Were you at least able to do it overnight so you had the days free?
