Around the time I started taking magnesium glycinate (I have never taken this form of magnesium before) I started to get much more rectal bleeding.

Other ingredients are Cellulose, Staric Acid, Silica and Magnesium stearate - all of which I have used and had no problems.

Prior to the glycinate form I have used magnesium citrate and magnesium L-threonate and haven't get this increased rectal bleeding from them.

I am not confident in attributing the increase in rectal bleeding to magnesium glycinate, it doesn't make much sense to me; but I can't track any other causative for this to happen.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever had a similar experience with magnesium glycinate?

I will stop taking the supplement for some time to see if it still persists.

P.S. this is the product I have been using: /www.amazon.com/KAL-Magnesium-Glycinate-400-tablets/dp/B00013YZ1Q?th=1
