So i have c-diff again. This is my second time in about 13 months. This time it is not going away very easily. I am still Ava 6 bm’s a day. Also, my fecal cal protection level was high (211) but gi said the c-diff could be partly to blame. No way to know until we clear up the c-diff. I am now on Xanax Er twice a day..yea me... Mayo Clinic visit is in 2 weeks. On a good note 3 of my doctor ow say i am disabled and the disability insurance company extended my short term out to the max 6 months and has turned my file over to the long term term to review. Unfortunately there are no guarantees.
My gi told me something interesting. He said while it is known that chronic inflammation in the body causes a lot of harm, what is not known is specifically how it impacts th inns like vascular and heart when the cause is something like crohn’. This came up as m blood pressure is running really high right now and they added more medications to try to get it down. He basically said the crohn’s is causing havoc with my organs and body and it really doesn’t matter what the blood work says. He said he can just look at me and tell i am sick.
He asked me to call him from mayo with updates. He believes the will add something likei imuran to the stelara although there is not much test cases on this. He also is are they will do another colonoscopy...for those who are counting this would be my 18th colonoscopy......so i have that going for me...lol
