broke my hand 3 months ago, and 2 weeks ago I was feeling strong (knock on wood) so I had a small salad, the next day I finished the salad and no issues. Last 7 days I've had a salad all but one day. I drink PLENTY of water but no issues (knock on wood)

is it possible the broken bone is the cause?

when you break a bone, your immune system sends in cells that act like trash collectors -- they get rid of small bone pieces and kill any germs. Also, you grow blood vessels into the area to help the healing process.
* I find this interesting because your immune system is involved and most believe Crohns is auto-immune. At a bare minimum your immune system is involved somehow in Crohns.
