The usual rule of thumb for IBD and diet is: if it doesn't bother you you can eat/drink it. There's no evidence that food can induce a flare-up and in remission you should be able to eat most things.
If you are actively flaring you will probably find you can't tolerate as many foods as you could whilst in remission. If you are *really* ill you may be able to tolerate nothing at all. That's all fairly normal - once you are back in remission you should be able to eat the things that you could before.
I drink hot chocolate sometimes. More of a tea drinker personally (not that you could ever guess >_>). But I do like a deece hot chocolate made with plenty of chocolate and milk - none of this watered down stuff.

Tried: 5-ASAs, azathioprine, 6MP, Remicade, methotrexate, Humira, diets.
1st surgery 20/2/13 - subtotal colectomy with end ileostomy.
2nd surgery 10/7/15 - ileorectal anastomosis. Stoma reversed and ileum connected to the rectum.
Current status: Chronic flare. Do I have any other kind?
Current meds: 50mg 6MP; Entyvio (started 3/11/16)
