My husband wasn't going to tell me because he knew it would make my guts boil. This lady was sick for a long time...she had at least 15 different diagnosis that she swore to (along with lots of smoking and drinking and asthma). She had CD then she didn't, but apparently now she did. No biopsy, no tests, no medicine, no pathological diagnostics. Just she was told it was Crohns based on her symptoms. She told me once she was cured by just not eating tomatoes any more. Now she is cured by essential oils and CBD oil (everyone in the club is either selling or cured by essential oils right now!).
Aloe gel, himalayan salt, and what not....I am preparing what I am going to say when she actually has the nerve to say this in front of me...I don't want to be so irate that people write me off. I don't want her belittling a disease that makes my life so hard and others even harder either. Going to look for a picture of snake oil ads to show her too. Grrr...ok I'm still steaming

We all now without proper testing she doesn't have crohns, lol. However, this just supports this person's ignorance & nothing more. Depending on your setting, if you get approached, walk away even if it means going to the bathroom to get away from her. If it's one on one, I would cut her off with, this is my social time & I don't discuss health issues on my social time. Don't crack any of your teeth either from gritting them so hard. Enjoy yourself with your group & ignore this one, lol.

Agreed with Straydog, no amount of arguing will get you anywhere, better to save your sanity and time and just walk away or change the subject.

Yup walking away has been my weapon of choice in protecting my sanity the last few years. But....still just not happy with the bad press. Told my husband I may opt for the quiet whisper in her ear that she is a fraud before I walk away. Seems the old southern lady of the movies style has worked too...coat your venom in sugar smile

Here's a little humor for you when around this person. My late mother would put this one in the category of "ignorance is bliss", lol!
