Has anyone used the generic high potency probiotic from Costco (made by Brookfield Pharmaceuticals)?
I was looking for a lower cost option to Visbiome and came across it at Costco. When I look at the exact bacteria strands and potency, it's almost identical to Visbiome. It has all bacteria strands as Visbiome + one extra. It's 112.5 billion units per capsule.
And....it's half the price.
However, I just want to make sure that it's a good product. The manufacturer has been in business only for a few years and I couldn't find much on line.
Has anyone used it with same success as Visbiome?
I'll be honest, I'm new to this forum, and my inquiry is not for me but my dog (I hope nobody will get offended). Yes, dogs get IBD too :-( . He's been on Visbiome for the past 4 months, it works well for him, but the cost is so high, we're looking for cheaper option (he needs high potency - 450 billion units a day).
