Liver test results came back normal (Sigh). I was really worried. Still I can't figure out why the B12 levels were extremely high. Had my infusion last week and as my GI ordered it was administered very slowly to the extent that it was dripped over 6 hours and thank God, I had no reactions during infusion this time.
The ESR and CRP tests were repeated and the results are high again. I don't feel that sick but all co-workers, who haven't seen me since ages, tell me that I have lost weight. The new symptom of joint pain is still persistent. Still waiting for the calprotectin test results, which were high, btw, a couple of weeks ago.
Does this mean that Remicade stopped doing its job or does it mean that I should take it every 6 weeks instead of 8? I'll see my GI on Wednesday but as agreed prior to the infusion, he will evaluate my response to Remicade based on my inflammatory marker results, if I had any reactions during infusion, joint pain and withdraw budesonide even if I'm on 3 mgs only.
I think I need to bring to his attention the idea that two doctors had told me before that I have gallbladder stones. You will relate that I don't want anything new on my plate now. I've had enough for 13 years.
