I recently had covid - before Xmas - I am fine apart from a very mild cough which started before. I stopped my humira - and have been told to restart it now by my consultant. 4 weeks off humira.
My question: hopefully i have some antibodies now - will the humira destroy them or will i have some antibodies going forward?

Franny19, from what I have been reading people on biologics stopped for a short period of time & then resumed their treatment once cleared of the virus. To date it is unclear how long antibodies stay in a person's system. If this were me, I would resume my Humira & not risk a flare up. My next step would be to ask the dr when he thinks you should have your antibodies levels checked from the virus.

Take care.

Thankyou Susie for your thoughts. I will try and sort an antibody test. Hopefully I will get the vaccine soon as am in the UK.
