I just found out my pharmacy messed up. My last Imuran (generic) RX was supposed to be 50mg twice a day. My Dr increased it to help me get better. I now should be on 100mg a day but the Dr put take 1 pill twice a day and each pill is 50mg. Since that equals 100mg can I take both pills in the morning

My question is do any of you take your imuran 2x a day or 3x or can you take all at once?

I am real upset at the pharmacy but I guess I am lucky it could have been worse.

thanks!

I take 150mg, which is 3 50mg tablets, all at once at night. I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but if you feel different, you could space them out.

I am on 125 mg, I take half in morning and half at night only because I am pregnant. I use to take 200mg all at once before my pregnancy.

I split my dose because of problems with nausea. By taking the imuran with breakfast and supper I no longer have problems with dizziness or nausea.

I had some nausea today. Hopefully it is not because of taking the imuran together smile I will experiment this weekend with it.
thanks for the info everyone!
