Anyone know what would cause a high fever for ~24 hours? I get a low grade fever every few weeks or so, but yesterday, I was feeling crappy all day and by the time I got home from work, my temp was 101.9. Today, no fever. So what causes a 24 hour fever? I'm on Imuran and Entocort. I've been feeling relatively OK since I've been Entocort for the last 2 weeks. So the fever just came out of the blue. I don't think it was the flu.

ususally it is your body fighting infection. However because of the inflammation in my body I run over 100 all the time.

Agree with MMMNAVY.
Of course, a relapsing type of fever can indicate other things. Any visits to Africa lately? Otherwise, maybe it was just one of those weird quick bugs. One never knows. The Imuran of course messes with your immune system.
