I dunno if its my medicine (because I've had sleeping trouble before, its not really new) or just that I'm so excited about being here at college... And sleeping in a different bed and all.... *lol* I'm just sooo tired.... I wish I could get some more sleep... Don't wanna take naps... Don't wanna miss anything... Everything is so awesome here...

BOOKS, MAN! BOOKS! :).... I just gotta read... read... can't stop reading... *lol* And stuff... dude, there's stuff to do around here... :D... There's places to go... People to see! But man... I'm so tired...

Went to bed at 11:00 last night.... woke up at 5 in the mornin'... completely by accident because I wanted to get up at 8:00... Went back to bed... ended up wakin' up at around 7:30... Not bad... I mean... that's about... 6 hours of sleep... but... I need more than six hours...

There just isn't enough time, seems like... :)

NAP! When I was in college I lived for my naps! I miss being able to take a nap in the middle of the afternoon. Oh, that was such a great time. Look at it this way, if you nap in the afternoon then you can hang out longer at night. Things were always more fun in at night than during the afternoon. I would give anything to be in your shoes and back in college again. I have a sister 10 years younger than me and she is a sophomore in college this year. Me and my parents just took her back to school this past Sunday. She goes to the same college that I went to. It has been 7 years since I was in college and still at this time of year I think about going back!

Hi! You lucky person to be in college.Thank your lucky stars and accept 6 hrs. Unless of course it is going to make you sick (crohn's). I know I'm an old fogey but I do remember my daughter partying and getting up for 8 AM classes. Not that I reccomend that, she did really well because she had a good foundation, but you will survive. I'm sure dorm noise doesn't help. If you do wake up and can't sleep, then do some studying. Best time for me was 5 AM. Then for sure you will take a nap. If worse comes to worse, there is always ambien. Best of luck to you, and don't think you are "missing" anything.

How awesome that you're having fun!!! That's what college is about... but too little sleep will jeopardize your health, you know that :-) Take naps! My favorite part of the day in college was a 2 hour break between classes when I could go catch a nap. It was easier to stay up later when the REAL fun happens if I napped earlier in the day :-)

Hey Celey!! So glad to hear a happy post from you. You probably just need to get adjusted to your new schedule, new room, new bed, new food etc. You could try taking a benadryl before bed just for a night or two until you get more used to your surroundings. Have fun!!! (or as my dad would say, have a "reasonable" amount of fun!!!)

Of course... :)... *My idea of fun is spending a day with a very good book.... which I've been doing... a lot...* Thinking about joining a club or two here on campus.... heh... I'm still very tired... a nap is kind of tempting... Maybe... I'll curl up with a good book and see what happens... *If I'm tired enough, maybe I'll fall asleep in the middle of reading*

Congrats! That's great that your in college. If you really can't find the time to nap...give your brain a rest and take Magnesium Sulfate with a seperate calcium pill at night. (A two in one pill won't work) The calcium in required for your system to properly breakdown and utilize the Magnesium. It will relax you and your mind enough and you'll have the most amazing sleep even if it's just 4 hours! It's natural and won't leave you feeling "dopey" the next day. Best of luck with your studies...and zzz's!

I've started taking a Valerian tablet before bed and I'm getting a really good nights sleep. Its non addictive and was recommended to me by a friend whose used to be a Chiropractor.
It could be once the excitment wears off and you get into your new routine your sleeping pattern will improve. So how's it all going for you Celey? I hope your having fun along the way and are making new friends etc..
Tess
