I'm seeing my GI at lunch today, but since I can't get in with a Rheum until November, I decided to see my FP doc today (I work for her, so it helps) because of my joint pain.

She ordered the usual tests, but I noticed that I haven't had an ANA or Rhemotid Panal done prior to this. ...I thought that was a little strange since I've had CD for over a year and a half now, and have had joint pain for over a year.

...Are ANA titers not done when dx'ing a patient with an auto-immune disease? I thought they were...

Thanks!

Best,

M.

I don't think I have had one, so I would be curious to know the answer to that as well! I have been dx since april.

I just started seeing a Rheumy and she is the one who is running the ANA and Rheumatoid stuff. But that was because of my joint pain problems. And I have had Crohns for almost 32 years.
