Can anyone describe the mouth sores/ulcers that correspond w/ Crohn's? I am still in the process of getting a confirmed diagnosis (small bowel follow thru on Friday next wk) but have so many symptoms that I see reflected on this board, I'm just so curious. Anyway, I have had mouth sores for my entire life - I had to "swish and spit" milk of magnesia as a small child (ugh!) and had several other Rx swishes, all to no avail. I remember my mom saying that the dr. told her that whatever was going on in my mouth was probably going on in my stomach too. So here's the description (sorry it sounds gross) - usually, I have small blister-like eruptions - the closer to the surface they are, the less painful they are, deeper hurts more - they do not go away until the burst, so I usally make a hole to drain them (I know, yuk) - there is a clear fluid inside these - very common, usually have one or more most all the time. Then I also have ocassionally the more open ulcerated type sore; not as much now as when I was a child. So again, sorry to sound so nasty, but can any of you describe how Crohn's in your mouth might look. Thanks again - I'm sure I'll have more questions, and will post when I get my test results.
