Crohn's drug raising cholestrol levels

Has anyone seen their cholestrol levels go up once they started drugs? I have been on Pentasa and Remicade for about 3 years now. Just before my diagnosis I had my levels checked and it was all good. I was retested a month ago and it went up almost 40 points. My nurse said it's not related but I was wondering if anyone had the same thing. I am 38 so age may be a factor.

It could be that you are better absorbing the content of the food you are eating now that you are on medication. My cholesterol skyrocketed once when I lost a lot of weight and was eating even less fat and cholesterol than previously - so go figure.
