i know that some members here take neurotin,  I was wondering.. since my does was increased, my stools have become more formed. I have read that constiaption may be a side effect and was wondering if this was caused by the  the neurotin.

Hi Prof,

I assume you are talking about Neurontin aka Gabapentin. I've been taking 1200mg a day for almost four years and have never noticed this side effect. But of course, everyone is different.

When I first started taking Neurontin, it did constipate me. I went from having 4-8 watery movements a day, to formed, hard as rock stools every couple days. Now that I have been taking it for almost 3 years, it does not impact my BMs.
