I used to use Aciphex until my insurance company decided they didn't want to cover it anymore. They even denied my doctor's letter. They said I had to try protonix. I just use Prilosec OTC every day, one a day. The other day I was at the Costco and found their brand. It works just as well and is about $15 cheaper. If you just get yourself into the habit of taking one acid reducer per day, it will REALLY help!

Currently 3 x per day 1000mgs Pentasa, Aciphex, Lortab, Ambien, Librax (for spasms) & VSL#3 (for probiotics) or activia yogurt, back on the prednisone (10mgs this week) and Entocort (9mgs).

Headed back down the CT, SBFT road for a potential SBO.  Great.
