This is a question Re: periods...I had lapro surgery about 1 mth ago...and my period comes every 30'ish days...I am now about 3 days late - there is NO way I can be pregnant, so I am just wondering if surgery could/can have something to do with this?

It can. After my emergency resection I didnt get my period that month and knew I wasnt pregnant. Prior to my surgeries I tended to skip 2 periods a year even though on my BCP I get it like clockwork everyother month...smae day of the week etc.

I've always been like clockwork, every 28 days for 7 days. Until the resection. After surgery I didn't have a period for 4 months. It was wonderful!'s back and won't stop due to an annoying ovarian cyst. See my GYN later this month. Don't think you should worry yet. It's going to take months for your whole system to return to normal even though your surgery was less invasive.
Good luck on the recoup...and enjoy NOT having a period!

On a different note. Recently seen in the ER for gallbladder symptoms. They gave me phenegran for nausea...haven't had sex in 6 weeks due to the constant bleed caused by the cyst. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that they also ran a pregnancy test on me. Phenegran can cause a false positive on the pregnancy test. Not to mention I had my tubes tied 22 years ago! I ought to fight the charge on the bill! Sorry...a little off topic...just needed to vent!
