I just got back from the doctor today and was thrilled to find out that my Crohn's is no longer active. After a long, hard war I've slid into remission even without Remicade infusions. I'm so happy! I wish I could go to the top of the world and say how glad I am to be in remission.

Congratulations! I hope you are one of the lucky ones to get decades of remission.

Congraulations! from me as well! Since i have been diagnosed with CD 6 years ago i have been threw alot of pain, deppression & i felt "why did this happen to me" im sure you all thought the same. I have just recently found this site and im so glade because i no that i am not the only 1 that is going through this. I have only met 1 actually person who is going throught this as well and now that i found this site i no there are millions and millions of others with the same thing. Now i can learn somthing from others, i can ask questions because most of us are all going throught the same thing and same probloms. Unfortinally for me i have been in remission for 2 years & i am only taking Pentsa 1500mg & mulit-vitimins. I try to eat healthy foods and evoid sweets and other un-healthy stuff that can cause flare ups. The only problom that i really have right now is with my Joints i feel alot of pain in the morning, somtimes i feel like im 100 years old when i get up. Do any of u guys have any of these similar probloms that i have i mean i dont really like painkillers and i just wanted to no if u guys had any suggestions! Thank you! :-)

Was this determined from test, or what? Just wondering how a doctor determines this?
