Jackie, a really good resource is Lab Tests Online. You can check what normal values are and they explain what conditions/diseases cause abnormal values. Your CRP is a little high but not knowing what it was originally can't tell if you have improved.

Check out Lab Tests Online.

thank you ides,

my crp was 39.01  and esr was 44 that's in may 07 and now my esr is 16 and my crp is 21.3

I check on lab test online and it shows my crp is stii elavated but comparing to may it decrease so doesn't it mean that my inflammation reduced but I still have  inflammation?

I still have a lot of pain and now I reduce the entocort at 3mg a day for 2 week and then I am off it but I don't take anything else

should I discuss a maintenance medication with my GI on monday? is there a medication that will help with the paIN  ....my bm are formed sometime semi formed.

I don't know what to do...if I should just live with the pain or take med!

jackie
