Just got back from having an appointment with my new doctor. My other one left and moved to Boston. To be perfectly honest, I'm so glad. I really didn't like my old doctor but it was too hard for me to take the jump. Now I get to stay with the Practice (which I really liked) but have a new doctor. I really liked him. I had seen him last year when I was in the hospital for pancytopenia. He was the On-Call doctor. I was impressed because he remembered me and my history. He wasn't just going through the motions.

Anyway, I'm doing so well I don't have to go back for another 6 months, and if I'm still doing well then only once a year. YIPPEE!!!!! yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Hi Vicky,

Congratulations!!!!

I know how hard it is when you want to change doctors but don't know how to go about it. I finally made a change after a couple of years of wanting to but it was really hard to actually make the switch. I'm glad that you like the new one and that he seems to be a very caring individual. That's what the medical field needs more of!

Congratulations again!!
