Since I've started Humira, I seem to be runnning fevers every couple days. Anywhere from 99.6-103.1  I've been to the ER twice and both times I ended up with a doc that said they did not know that much about Humira and wasn't real sure what to do??? DUH--how in the hell and why in the hell are you a doc???  In fact yesterday the doc asked me-well what would you like me to do? What test would you like me to run? You've got to be kidding me!!!! I told them to call my specialist 4 hours away and he could tell them what to do and of course the dumb--- waits til after 5 to call and by that time my doc is gone for the day. NICE. NOT!!!!!! So I ended up telling him different test to run just based on past visits to the ER and it came back I have mild pancreatitis. Is this normal?? Any experiences would be greatly appreciated since we the patients are obviously smarter than the docs at least 85% of the time. mad

Obviously you need to consult your gastro if you have not already done so....and you might try calling the Humira customer line....they have all sorts of resources that might point you in the right direction.  Certainly they should be able to tell you if your reaction is one thay have seen before.

Who knows...it could be directly related to a reaction from the drug...it could be related to your immune system being weakened by the drug....or...or...or...
